The Bughties is situated in the town of Broughty Ferry near the city of Dundee.   It is a 19th century villa located in a leafy suburb with spectacular views of the Firth of Tay.
Broughty Ferry is a suburb of Dundee,  4 miles east of Dundee on the North bank of the Firth of Tay.    The Ferry was a separate burgh from 1864 to 1913 when it was incorporated into Dundee.      Broughty Ferry is regarded as the ‘jewel in Dundee’s crown’.     With it 16th century castle, quaint fishermen’s cottages and historic civic buildings, gardens, churches and homes,  Broughty Ferry boasts a rich history.
